Women Writers of Rutland

“Women Writers of Rutland” contributed by Stephanie Billow a History and Art History major, Smith College class of 2019.

In her introduction, Ms. Billow writes,“This work is primarily a homage to the literary works of (three) women and their impact on Rutland history; it is also a glimpse into lives—worth remembering”.

The women in question are Julia C.R.Dorr ; Edith Kellogg Dunton; and Beth Bradford Gilchrist.It is well researched and well written with numerous illustrations to accompany the text.

A welcome addition illustrating the literary and personal lives of three local women.
